About The Dyslexia Centre of Excellence (DCE)
DCE was established to raise standards in how dyslexia is understood, supported, and addressed in education.
Across classrooms and schools, dyslexia remains widely misunderstood. Learners are often identified too late, educators are under supported, and systems struggle to keep pace with current research and best practice. The result is an uneven experience for learners who deserve consistency, understanding, and informed support.
This need is what led to the creation of DCE.
Our work goes beyond awareness. We provide informed training, practical frameworks, and learning tools that support real change for learners with dyslexia. We believe education should be engaging, confidence building, and rooted in how children actually learn; through curiosity, connection, and meaningful interaction.
